What ships

The public CDN suite is first-party RootMC software. Live line is 1.8.0 (August 2026) — see manifest.json.

Currency is always Gold (G), not dollars. Automated grants debit the Server Reserve — see the Constitution.

Network setup

New host path: drop jars → product key in root-core.yml → restart → /rootcore connect shows NETWORK CONNECTED.

Claims vs Towny

Install order

  1. Paper 26.x with outbound HTTPS to api.rootmc.net
  2. Root-Core + product key in plugins/RootMC/root-core.yml
  3. Root-Times → Root-Perms → Root-Economy → Root-Essentials
  4. Root-Play, Root-Ops, Root-Territories, Root-ItemInfo, RootMC
  5. Root-Claims or Towny stack; RootMC-Official last on the official pair
Shared configs live under plugins/RootMC/, not each jar’s own data folder. Core creates and repairs that folder on enable.

Root-Discord is retired — remove the jar; Discord/Slack live in Root-Core comms. Absorbed jars (shops, help, rewards, …) redirect to Essentials or Play — see catalog notes.

Keys & My Servers

Register at the developer portal, generate a product key, put it in root-core.yml, start Core. Bind + presence fill cloud.yml and list the host under My Servers. Full checklist: network setup.
